ELEMENTAL BEASTS: DICE DUEL
A strategic two-player dice-drafting card game where you combine elemental forces to summon Guardian Beasts and duel your opponent.
Created as a father-son design project.
🎲 HOW IT WORKS
Draft your army of 5 creatures and 3 dice, then battle!
Each round:
- Roll the shared Environment Die
- Choose one of your three dice to roll
- Match the two elements to summon a creature
- Attack your opponent or heal your allies
- First to eliminate all 5 enemy creatures wins
Simple rules. Deep strategy.
🔥 THE FOUR ELEMENTS
Fire - Aggressive attackers
Water - Healing and sustain
Earth - Durable defenders
Wind - High-impact swings
Each creature needs a specific pair of elements to summon. Pure types (Fire/Fire) are harder to summon but resist their element better. Dual types (Fire/Water) summon more easily with unique abilities.
⚔️ 10 UNIQUE GUARDIAN BEASTS
- Flame Serpent - Pure offense, no abilities, maximum attack
- Tidal Leviathan - Heals weakest ally when summoned
- Stone Colossus - Self-heals and taunts attackers
- Sky Wyrm - Attacks with First Strike
- Steam Elemental - Mass healing for your whole army
- Magma Golem - Seals enemy abilities
- Inferno Phoenix - Respawns once when killed
- Mud Guardian - Regenerates every round
- Storm Caller - Targeted healing
- Dust Devil - Damages all enemies at once
Every creature is viable. Strategy matters.
🎯 WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL
Designed by a father and his 8-year-old son over several months. We wanted a game that was:
- Easy enough for kids to play (ages 7+)
- Strategic enough to stay interesting
- Balanced so every creature feels powerful
- Quick to play (30-40 minutes)
Extensive playtesting and iteration created a game where strong players win most of the time, but probability keeps it exciting - underdogs always have a chance.

Print at 100% scale - do NOT scale to fit
Cut out the 10 creature cards along the borders
